The auger has replaceable tungsten carbide teeth & pilot point. The bore head is double-edged, hardened and equipped with Flat Teeth (type FZ38-HM)

This auger is best used in rocky soil. Shaft Diameter= 2.4” x 0.31” (60.3 x 8mm)
