SALES & DEALER RELATIONS

Blacks Creek Innovations and Black Horse Road and Forestry Trailers are growing, and we are looking for a driven, results-oriented sales professional to join our team.

This position is ideal for someone who is motivated by sales, enjoys building relationships, and is willing to go the extra mile to help customers find the right equipment for their operation.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Generate and develop new sales opportunities through prospecting and networking.
  • Build relationships with customers, dealers, and industry contacts.
  • Follow up on leads and quotations in a timely manner.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, demonstrations, and industry events throughout Canada and the United States.
  • Demonstrate equipment and assist with customer training when required.
  • Transport equipment to trade shows, demonstrations, and dealer locations as needed.
  • Work with customers across multiple time zones, including occasional evening and after-hours communication.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity.
  • Support and grow our dealer network.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in sales and business development.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, and goal-oriented.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and identify potential customers without direct supervision.
  • Knowledge of the firewood, forestry, logging, agricultural, or equipment industries is considered a strong asset.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Canada and the United States.
  • Comfortable towing trailers and transporting equipment.
  • Experience demonstrating equipment to customers is an asset.
